Ulva Sea Lettuce Macro-Algae, being phosphate nutrient absorbent, is an excellent choice for refugiums. This highly nutritional leafy green algae is readily accepted by herbivorous fish like tangs, as well as inverts like nudibranch and sea-hares.

Makes for a great substitution food for herbivorous fish like blennies and tangs, when natural algae has been depleted in the reef aquarium. Ulva Sea Lettuce Macro-Algae helps to remove both phosphate and nitrate from the water. In an effort to help increase the amount of nutrients this algae will export, use moderate to high lighting, and keep it in an area that receives water flow.

Acclimation:
(Temperature match, by floating bag or container of macroalgae in aquarium for 10 - 15 minutes. Then release into tank. No attachment to rock or sand needed unless desired.)
