I like the large heat sink which does not necessitate running the fan all the time.

The light is perfect over my 50 gallon f.o.w.l.r aquarium. I will purchase another when I transform my aquarium to a full reef. Dimming the fixture is nice and allows you to get the right color, although I prefer white and blue dialed up to maximum output.

For mounting the light to my wooden canopy, I retrofitted steel brackets, that I purchased from Home Depot, and screwed them into the bottom which was convenient. The fixture is built rock solid, so I know it will hold up for many years to come. In conclusion I am very pleased with this purchase, and highly recommend this light.

I run 3 units on my 92 gallon corner aquarium. The coral colors are more stunning with shimmering effect not seen with my old T5's. Corals are growing well. No more red slime and tank runs cooler. Dave was very helpful.

The light produced from this is INTENSE and it has nice controls to dim the blues and whites separately. The casing is really nicely done and it looks solid. 1 unit would be ideal for smaller tanks i.e. 25 to 55 gal. You will need multiple units for aquariums 48" to 72" in length. However with the Small Foot-Print allows for multiple configurations. Replaces or equates to a 250W MH on deep tanks, in terms of PAR.

This is an Excellent led aquarium light! Since I've put this over my 28 gal. nano cube reef tank, I have much great coloration and my toadstool coral has finally extended his polyps again for the very first in 6 months. I highly recommend this light compared to all others currently on the market.
