OCReef's Activated Carbon removes organic pollutants, stains, and toxic gases in saltwater aquariums, freshwater aquariums and ponds. Can also be used to help keep water gardens and water statues crystal clear.

Contains bitumen-based carbon for the finest pelletized activated carbon in the aquarium industry. The pore sizes range in between 20 to 2,000 Angstroms. These 4 MM carbon pellets are ideally suited for removal of large organic molecules. Will not leach phosphates or promote undesirable algae growth. These carbon pellets are well suited for sensitive reef aquarium systems. Our pellets are designed for water flow and will not clog easily like the small granular or crushed carbons. Out performs most other carbons.
