Thrive 1 Alkalinity increases the pH and alkaline levels in your marine aquarium. Most marine aquariums will need supplementation of pH and alkalinity as often as daily to thrive. The chemical management of a salt water, reef aquarium is delicate balance. The Thrive products and Thrive Analytics were created to help you simply assess and adjust the balance of your salt water aquarium system.

When purchasing more Thrive 1 Alkalinity, you can refill your bottle with the Thrive 1 Alkalinity Refill 20.3 oz.

Directions for Use:

Determine the Alkalinity level in the aquarium before supplementing. For best results, obtain a customized Thrive Prescription at your local fish store or at based on your current tested parameters. If not using Thrive Analytics in store or at home: 1. Find the current alkalinity value 2. Add 1 ml per 10 gallons daily until the desired alkalinity is attained 3. Dose daily as needed to maintain alkalinity at 8 to 12 dKH. Dosing without a Thrive Analytics prescription is not recommended. Each ml of Thrive Alkalinity will increase the alkalinity in 1 gallon of water by 2.61 dKH. Add Thrive Alkalinity at the maximum rate of 3 ml per 10 gallons daily until target dKH value is reached, then dose daily or weekly as needed. Daily dosing maintains a more stable alkalinity and pH. Do not overdose: Alkalinity greater than 12 dKH may damage equipment and enhance the loss of calcium, magnesium, and strontium. Do not directly mix with any calcium, magnesium, or strontium supplement. Do not raise Alkalinity more than 1 dKH per day.
