Description

Eco Calcium A (Balling Method)* is one part of a 3-part calcium supplement specially formulated to maintain carbonate alkalinity at a natural seawater level of 7 dKH. This will enable the aquarist to maintain pH and calcium levels at or near natural seawater levels that are essential to all reef inhabitants pH = 8.0-8.4, calcium = 410-430 ppm.

Adjusts the pH in marine systems to 8.0-8.4

Raises alkalinity to 7-8 dKH

Phosphate and nitrate free!

carbonate alkalinity

size - 16 oz.

Main Points:
  • Adjusts the pH in marine systems to 8.0-8.4
  • Raises alkalinity to 7-8 dKH
  • Phosphate and Nitrate Free

Also:

Eco Calcium B = mineralsECO CALCIUM C = calcium and magnesiumUsed together, these three products will maintain optimal concentrations of calcium (410-430 ppm), magnesium (1300-1400 ppm) and other elements, and maintain the appropriate carbonate alkalinity (7 dKH), in the aquarium system.

*Simple dosing instructions must be followed in order to achieve the best results.

Directions for use:

Important: All three parts of the Eco Calcium 3-Part Supplement (A, B, C) must be used together, although each part must be dosed separately! Shake each bottle vigorously for 10 seconds immediately prior to each use! Add 10 milliliters (ml) per 50 U.S. gallons (1 U.S. gallon = 3.7 liters), or one ounce (30 ml) per 150 U.S. gallons, of ECO CALCIUM A (and each additional supplement part) per day. Dosages can be increased up to one ounce (30 ml) per 30 U.S. gallons per day, depending on the stocking density of stony corals. Place ECO CALCIUM A in the sump or in front of the powerhead outlet to ensure even dispersal of the product.

Considerations for Use:

Maintaining consistent calcium (410-430 ppm), magnesium (1300-1400 ppm), alkalinity (7 dKH) and mineral levels in the aquarium system is essential if the ultimate goal of the aquarist is to ensure optimal coral growth. Once the dosage for the particular reef system has been determined, we recommend dosing small amounts (the total dosage divided by the number of times added) of each part of the 3-part calcium supplement throughout the day when the main lights are on. The best way to achieve this is to use a dosing pump.

Contents:

Deionized water, sodium, potassium, bicarbonate, carbonate, borate, fluoride, iodide, molybdate, selenate, vanadate and tungstate.
