  • The (Botryocladia) Red Grape Macro-Algae is a very hardy macro that gives the reef aquarium a very natural and vibrant feel.
  • Herbivore fish and inverts may tend to eat the small bulbs, therefore this plant provides a nutrition source to herbivores. Protection must be provided for this species against predation from herbivorous fish, if you plan to grow it out.
  • Seahorse love to use the Grape Macro Algae to attach themselves to for stability.
  • Place in your refugium or sump, to help absorb nitrates.
  • Can tolerate low light levels, but prefers medium to high lighting with high water flow.

Acclimation:
(Temperature match, by floating bag or container of macroalgae in aquarium for 10 - 15 minutes. Then release into tank. No attachment to rock or sand needed unless desired.)
