When used with a pressure rated pump @24 ft head pressure this skimmer will outperform any other skimmer in it's class. They move a lot of water and inject an insane amount of air. Create the Foulest Nog I have ever seen from any skimmer. They oxygenate the water better and recover quickly from medications, additives and top off and water changes as well as putting your hand in the tank. Can be silenced by putting a small water bottle with a hole large enough to cover the air intake or as I do run the intake outside and attach to a carbon filled bottle with a few small holes in it. Positively ozone ready and works well enough to eliminate the need for a separate reactor. The myth about becketts being noisy or in need of constant cleaning is BS. This not a toy. It is the best made, skimmer in the world.
