Plankton

Plankton referred to in the aquairum hobby as Phytoplankton or Zooplankton consist of any drifting organisms (animals, plants, archaea, or bacteria) that inhabit the pelagic zone of oceans, seas, or bodies of fresh water. They provide a crucial source of food to aquatic organisms such as fish and invertebrates. Most planktons will be a good source of food for any reef tank, however we recommend to research the various plankton's sold on the market, to find the best one for your particular aquarium.
