OCReef's Live Marine Phytoplankton – Premium Reef Blend naturally provides needed nutrition for your reef inhabitants, through direct target feeding, and through indirect feeding's that increase the natural food supply in the reef aquarium.

Animals that directly feed on planktonic microorganisms, include: clams, feather duster worms, tunicates, sponges, corals and zooplankton (Copepods and invertebrate larvae) that are natural foods for corals and fish.

OCReef's Live Marine Phytoplankton is a unique concentrated and cleaned live culture with no synthetics, no additives or preservatives. Articifical fertilizers are not used to grow our Phytoplankton.

The combined effects of OCReef's live Marine Phytoplankton on coral and fish cannot be duplicated with preserved phytoplanktons, thus the need for freshly harvested Phytoplankton for a thriving dense reef aquarium.

Premium reef blend contains Tetraselmus, Nannochloropsis oculata, Phaeodactylum tricornutum and Chlorella with a cell size of 2 – 20 microns.
