The Tweezers are a useful tool for the removal of problem algae. The Tweezers are fitted with a 12mm (1/2") hose connection where suction can be applied by a siphon to a bucket or by connection to a canister filter inlet. Any algae fragment pulled from the rock face is then pulled out of the aquarium directly, preventing any chance that it may take hold elsewhere in the system.
